Altamont 2006, the 26th version, was a great time as usual. As for usable images, this year was probably my best for the years that I've gone. Being out of the loop for a couple of years, it took me a while to get back into the hang of where to go, and when, but it was well worth the effort. Great camraderie, great scenery, lots of trains, and the wonderful atmosphere of the Izaak Walton Inn just make the event a very special time for me. Many thanks go out to Richard Yaremko and Larry Zeutschel for their continued efforts on putting together a masterpiece event (and to keeping me on the invite list...), and to Canon and Brian Matsumoto for continuing to invest their time and expertise to the Canon faithful year after year, and the wonderful dinner they hosted. It is truly a special time of year and I look forward to attending for many years to come. Enjoy the images...
